Dedicated to Sustainability

Our Promise: To You & Our Planet

Inspired by beauty. Driven by sustainability.

At Linen Shoppe, we’re aware of the impact each one of us has on the environment. And as a brand, we do our part to minimize our footprint. We do this by creating products that are of the highest quality, yet have the lowest impact on our planet’s ecosystems. Our fabrics are designed with longevity in mind, which helps to reduce waste.

We’re all about comfort—for you and our planet.

Our Process

Transparency is key.

We value slow, intentional living… and this is evident in our process. Every step is guided by our ethical approach, from design, to packaging, to delivery. We’re careful in choosing our partners and materials, as we know the effects of our decisions reach far beyond us.

All bedding goods come in reusable drawstring linen bags. The stickers used to ship our linen sprays are compostable, and no unnecessary inserts or plastic is used in any of our packaging.

Transportation used to ship orders burns fossil fuels and generates carbon emissions. Those emissions trap heat, which leads to climate change. We neutralize our shipping emissions by protecting forests through certified projects and partners—which is why you’ll see the ‘Verified Carbon Standard’ sticker on our product pages.

Each month, we invest in reforestation efforts in partnership with Pachama, which allows us to achieve zero net carbon emissions made from our shipping. We are currently supporting the Jarí Para REDD+ Avoided Unplanned Deforestation project.

The Future

We’re proud of where we’ve come, but we know our work has only just begun.

By 2022, our packaging will be completely sustainable as we introduce biodegradable water activated tape and 100% recycled, reusable, and recyclable poly bags. The recycled plastic, while still plastic, reduces waste and is the most ecological plastic replacement available on the market today. We will also package all products in 100% recycled and biodegradable Kraft mailers and boxes, which are 70-95% post-consumer waste and curbside recyclable.

We’re currently working towards earning several certifications, including Oeko Tex “Made in Green” Certification and Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) Certification.
